Mikailah is an Afro-Indigenous beadwork artist from the nimîipuu Nation. Her maternal grandmother, Chloe Halfmoon, taught her how to bead at a young age. Since then, Mikailah has created her own signature style by beading contemporary pieces while blending traditional nimîipuu influences.
